Mission and Annual Report

Improving Equity in Global Health Research

ISoGH Annual Report 2021 to appear soon

ISoGH’s mission is to advocate for more equitable health research funding share between High-Income Countries (HIC) and Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) and to highlight health research needs in LMICs.

ISoGH will track health research funding flows, set health research priorities, promote health research needs and build health research capacity in LMICs.

To achieve these goals, our society will organise the ISoGH’s Annual Meeting, ISoGH’s Summer Schools and publish a range of JoGH journals, books and videos.

The society will also produce ISoGH’s Annual Reports, based on research priority setting exercises conducted by its members, and share them with international organizations active in global health to advocate for more equity in global health research and more balance between funding the needs of the LMIC and HIC populations.
