The International Society of Global Health invites you to the 5th ISoGH’s Conference on Global Health. This year’s conference will feature presentations from the leading global health experts on the topics of priority setting, health economics and policy, climate change effects on global health, effects of wars and violence on global health, data science and artificial intelligence in global health, barriers to achieving universal health care, pandemic preparedness, health metrics, equity and social justice and knowledge exchange.
5th ISoGH’s Conference on Global Health:
The first day of the conference will focus on the emerging topics in global health research. The results of recent exercises conducted by ISoGH on setting research priorities using the CHNRI method will be presented. Tools to influence health economics and policy will be reviewed, and climate change effects on global health, effects of wars and violence on global health, and data science and artificial intelligence in global health will be discussed.
The second day of the conference will address barriers to achieving universal health care and improve pandemic preparedness globally. It will also present the work of the Global Health Epidemiology Research Group (GHERG) in assessing the burden of diseases with a large burden in low- and middle-income countries that remain largely neglected. It will also present the tools such as EQUIST and PATHS, that could improve equity and social justice in funding allocation.
